Our wicker bench features a reinforced wooden frame, with high raised sides to act as arms. The base opens up via the faux leather fastener to reveal a spacious interior basket lined in white cotton, which you can use as storage for shoes and outerwear, blankets and throws, or a multitude of other household bits and bobs.

"Unfortunately my white bedroom furniture had been discontinued so I had been looking for ages to find another suitable ottoman/bench. While there were some similar i didn’t want it to look like I had tried to find a match and failed, This was an impromptu purchase of the double bench to provide rustic contrast to my shabby chic furniture and I am delighted with the way it works. The bench is simple, yet stylish and looks quality. It won’t date either. I have styled it for winter cosines with a sheepskin rug and embellished cushions and will change these to the simple grey stripe bench cushion in the spring - so it will look good in any season. The storage space is practical and robust because of the wooden frame so it does the job as well as looks great."

"Unfortunately my white bedroom furniture had been discontinued so I had been looking for ages to find another ottoman/bench with no success. While similar benches were available I didn’t want the effect of looking like I’d tried to match and failed. I was also limited because of sloping ceilings in the room. This bench was an impromptu purchase to provide a rustic contrast to my shabby chic furniture and I am delighted with it. It’s great looking but robust and practical. Initially I tried it against the wall but then decided it was more of a feature at the end of the bed so I moved my original ottoman to accommodate. At the moment the cosy winter theme is accentuated by the sheepskin throw and cushions. I intend to replace these in the spring so it can be tailored to look good in any season. The simple design makes it a classic piece - I’m thinking about getting a second for my hallway. I love the way the rattan contrasts with the white and neutral tones of the room and plenty to space to store things with the wooden frame in the bench itself making it very robust."
